The Oxford Book of World Records has officially recognised Rotary Club Jaipur Citizen, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, for achieving the World Record for the Largest Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Session.
This record was set through the successful organisation and execution of an extensive Basic Life Support training programme that brought together 1,200 participants in a continuous six-hour session. The initiative was conducted as part of the World Health and Wellness Festival on 20 December 2025.
The large-scale training focused on equipping participants with essential life-saving skills, including emergency response techniques and basic resuscitation procedures. By achieving this milestone, Rotary Club Jaipur Citizen demonstrated outstanding commitment to community health, safety awareness, and public preparedness, establishing a new global benchmark in mass BLS training.
